Lincoln Day Dinner
From Vickie Tonkins, our GREAT, GRASSROOTS, El Paso County Republican Party Chair, here’s a bit on the upcoming Lincoln Day Dinner. I hear it wasn’t promoted by the State Chair, who promoted other Lincoln Day Dinners around the state but, hey, who needs ‘em? Our Lincoln Day Dinner will be held at the Antlers in the Heritage Ballroom on Saturday August 13, 2022. Save the Date and mark your calendar! Congresswoman Lauren Boebert will be our headline speaker, … an energetic firebrand who will … give us the truth about what goes on in the Washington swamp. More to come. Consider Signs for Roadways Getting the word out, beyond “preaching to the choir,” can be done with signs placed along roadways (but NOT highways!). 18 x 24 inch plastic signs, with metal wire- supports, get SEEN! As the Representative for Colorado’s Third Congressional District, she is on the Natural Resources and Budget Committees, is co- chair of the Congressional Second Amendment Caucus, and after only a few months, was elected to the Executive Board as the Communications Chair of the House Freedom Caucus and was also appointed to serve on the Future of American Freedoms Task Force. Rep. Boebert also serves as the Vice Chairman of the Congressional Western Caucus.
